Rodrick founded Ensemble EHS with a clear vision: to modernise workplace safety management across Africa. With deep experience in EHS technology and enterprise software, he leads the company's mission to make world-class safety management accessible to organisations of all sizes.
Under his leadership, Ensemble is building a comprehensive platform that unifies incident management, audits, training, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance for South African and SADC industries. His hands-on approach to product development ensures the platform addresses real operational challenges faced by safety professionals every day.
Esther Makore
Co-Founder — Health, Safety & Risk
Esther brings the frontline health & safety and risk-management expertise that keeps Ensemble grounded in real EHS practice. She qualified as a NEBOSH-certified practitioner before pursuing postgraduate study, and is now completing her Master’s in Health & Safety and Risk Management at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
Her focus on occupational risk, regulatory compliance, and safety-management systems shapes how the platform reflects the day-to-day realities of protecting people on the ground — from incident prevention and risk assessment to statutory compliance across South Africa and the wider SADC region.
